Oakley Creek cleanup to help oceans
The annual clean up of Oakley Creek, held to coincide with Annual Sea Week, will take place on Sunday March 3 from 9.30am.
Organisers say that by cleaning up our streams there will be less rubbish to make it into our oceans.
Volunteers should bring sturdy footwear and a sunhat and meet at Unitec Student Residence carpark (by Building 76).
Access is from Great North Road (opp Alverston Street) or through Unitec Campus (entry through Gate 4)
