Album review: Nicki Minaj, Roman Reloaded

Nicky Minaj, Pink Friday: Roman reloaded

Nicki Minaj owns everything she does - who else can lay claim to being as gangsta as she is while also being feminine enough to be music's main Barbie and mixing up her music styles.

There is no other female rapper that can do it as good as she can right now.

Minaj has released her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, a follow up to her super successful debut.

And with a new album comes new directions and sounds as well as new and fantastic music.

Her musical personalities that come out when she raps are entertaining and genius to listen to. But don't think her voice/style/accent changes in her raps make her any less of an MC - she has a mixtape sound that is flawless.

While Roman Reloaded includes the expected Minaj raps, we're also treated to more vocals from the talented star and more of a dance sound in her music.

Roman Reloaded is an amazing album and many of my faves are the dance tracks.

There aren't any songs on here I want to skip past. My favourite tracks are Whip It, Marilyn Monroe, Sex in the Lounge featuring Lil Wayne and Bobby V, Pound the Alarm, Beez in the Trap, Roman Holiday, I Am Your Leader featuring Cam'Ron and Rick Ross and Right By My Side featuring Chris Brown.

Nicki Minaj's sound may be pop, but this chick is straight gangsta.
