I think the change will be beneficial for my community. Being part of a wider network of resources, having better access to technology is certainly worth looking forward to in Franklin. No doubt there will be nay sayers, there always are, but I do believe the role of the new local board should also be a critical influence in the provision of library services. The independent community groups such as the Franklin Arts Culture & Learning Trust will work
hand in hand with such services and ensure a valuable connection between the new and bigger management structure, and the reality needs for the individual community.
