Jobseekers gain work at Manukau Mitre 10
Forty South Auckland jobseekers will start work when Mitre 10 opens its Manukau Mitre 10 mega store tomorrow.
WINZ and Mitre 10 worked together to fill half the 80 new roles at the store.
Mitre 10 chief executive John Hartmann said it was great to be able to work with WINZ to employ mainly locally based people needing work.
Mr Hartmann said the new store reflects growing demand and population in the area including the lifestyle communities of Clevedon and Alfriston.
