A Broadway classic is being revived in Avondale in its sixtieth year.
Guys and Dolls opened on Broadway on November 24, 1950 and closed almost three years later to the day after 1200 performances.
Avondale College will bring a fresh production of the show to the stage from Tuesday, August 24 to Saturday, August 28.
Set against the colour of New York City, the show is an entertaining fable of Damon Runyan's Broadway.
The show won the Tony Award for Best Musical and has had several Broadway revivals as well as West End productions. Well known songs include Luck be a Lady, I've Never Been in Love Before and Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat.
Guys and Dolls is on at Avondale College Theatre in Victor St, Avondale and will start at 7.30pm.
