Fun planned for West Auckland Ecoday

Curious Kiwis can get their hands dirty and learn ways to keep the planet clean and green while having fun at EcoDay in West Auckland on Sunday 10 March.

The free sustainability-focused event will feature workshops covering everything from earth-building to raising backyard chooks, alongside exhibits from green businesses, and markets offering eco-friendly, recycled and fair-trade goods.

Kids can grow their green credentials with an interactive Kid's Zone where they can create sculptures from recycled materials with eco-artist Andrew Hall, learn how to ride a unicycle and participate in environmental story-telling with Fairy Clare.
