Free family event at Auckland's waterfront

Auckland families are invited to the Cloud on Auckland's waterfront on Saturday (16 February) for an all-day fun event at the city's new Pacific marketplace.

From 11am - 3pm, free activities at the Pacific Showcase include face painting, waka rides, temporary tattoos, a hula competition, chalk off, balloon twister, colouring competition and learning to weave.

The stage will come alive with traditional and contemporary inspired performances.

Traditional tatau (tattoo) and Tongan print painting make up some of the visual arts demonstrations.

Market stalls feature the best of the Pacific, including fresh foods and beverages and artisan products.

The Pacific Showcase will happen at The Cloud on Queens Wharf on 16 February, 2 and 9 March from 10am to 5pm.
