Fire destroys West Auckland house
A West Auckland house has been destroyed by fire overnight.
Fire Service northern communications shift manager Megan Ruru said crews were called to an address on Red Hills Road, Massey, about 12.10am.
"The house was completely alight when they arrived," Ms Ruru said.
Thirteen fire trucks were at the scene at the height of the blaze, which was since been extinguished.
"We have still got a truck there making sure nothing flares up," she said.
No one was injured in the fire.
Fire safety are investigating.
